CTBUH 2025 Indonesia Conference and Landmark Autograph Tower Inauguration


Celebrating Innovation, Resilience, and the Future of Tall Buildings in Southeast Asia

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) is set to host the inaugural CTBUH Indonesia Conference on 10 July 2025 at Catur Dharma Hall, Menara Astra, Jakarta, under the theme “Building Resilient Urban Futures: Innovation in Tall Buildings.” This landmark event, organized by the newly established CTBUH Indonesia Chapter, marks a major step forward in Indonesia’s commitment to shaping sustainable urban growth and vertical development.
This two-day celebration also includes a special inauguration ceremony for the Autograph Tower on 9 July 2025 at Thamrin Nine Ballroom. The Autograph Tower—officially recognized by CTBUH as the Tallest Building in the Southern Hemisphere and home to the World’s Highest Outdoor Pool—represents a bold new icon in Jakarta’s skyline and a symbol of progress for the region.

A Dual Celebration of Innovation and Local Leadership
The CTBUH Indonesia Conference 2025 highlights the urgent need to balance density and habitability in fast-growing urban environments, particularly across Asia. Organized into five key sessions, the conference will bring together more than 200 attendees, including architects, developers, engineers, academics, policymakers, and sustainability experts.
With a focus on knowledge exchange and innovation, the event will explore a wide range of topics including climate-responsive design, high-rise sustainability, new construction technologies, and Southeast Asia’s collective urban future. Featured speakers include leading names from international firms such as Aedas, Foster + Partners, KPF, Nikken Sekkei, Pelli Clarke & Partners, SOM, and Zaha Hadid Architects, as well as Indonesian urban leaders and government officials.
Notably, this event is the first official conference organized by the CTBUH Indonesia Chapter, which was recently established to foster collaboration across disciplines, support professional development, and promote high-rise and urban habitat research in the Indonesian context.
